Applying to a theological college doesn’t have to be complicated, but there are some important details for you to keep in mind as you get started. Submitting an application creates a unique opportunity for reflection and discernment. Our application process is 100% online. You can start the online application process using the UMCATC application portal once you have chosen the degree program that best suits your academic interests and professional aspirations. You can start an application on the UMCATC system and save, review, and edit it whenever you like until you're ready to submit it. Theological training at UMCATC incorporates the spiritual, intellectual and relational components. In the classroom, in worship, and in community service, we focus on intellectual growth, social justice, personal transformation, and mutuality in ministry.

UMCATC is accredited by the Association for Christian Theological Education in Africa (ACTEA) and affiliated to the University of Ibadan, Nigeria for Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Religious Studies approved by the National Universities Commission.
